Development On The Poster

Here i have put up some of the screen shots of my development of the poster.

I have chosen a picture that i like and imported it into photoshop.

Here i have change the colour to black and white, i have also enlarged
the actual image.

I have added gill sans font as it is plain but very bold which is what GF Smith
sem to use on the packaging and cards.

I have lightened the image here so that the font stands out more
i have also changed the colour of GF Smith because i wanted to
make it more bold than the other text.

I have darkened some of the sculpture so that it really catches your eye.

Here i have change the fonts around and i have also changed the
shade of them on each line.

I wasn't happy with the previous poster design so i have started afresh.
I have imported another image that i really like, and then i changed the colour to
black and white. I have also placed my gill sans text over the top of the image. At first the text looked strange on top of the image but i then went and had a look at the different blending modes,
and i found that vivid light really made the text look old.

Here is an up close view of my poster, you can really see how the light comes through the
text. You can still see all of the detail of the structure which i think makes it a lot more interesting
to look at.

I have everything slap bang in the middle which doesn't look very good
i will have to move it up  so that it is slightly above half way.

So here is my final piece still with the grids on. I have added the rest of the text i needed to
and coloured it white so that it helps bring out the white sculpture.
